After-School
NECC’s enriching and comprehensive after-school program is available to children in grades K through 6.

The program is sponsored by NECC in collaboration with the Webutuck School District and funded by a NY State Advantage After School grant with additional support by a grant from the Dyson Foundation.
NECC staff implement additional cleaning protocols in our classrooms.
Our many activities include:
Daily homework help, nutritious snack, and outdoor play time.
Social and emotional development and support
Creative literacy projects tied to the learning goals for each grade—helping ensure that every student is prepared for and able to complete schoolwork.
Character development and community service projects.
Physical fitness and sports
Team building/cooperative games
Art projects led by artists from the Wassaic Project
STEM and STEAM projects
Connecting tutors and mentors from Hotchkiss School with NECC After School Connection students
and much more!
