Out of School Time - After-School Connections
Our After School Program is a great option for families with children in 2nd or 3rd grade looking for a safe and enriching environment during after-school hours. We encourage learning, socializing, recreation, physical activity, and community service. Classes are limited. Enroll now for the 2024-2025 school year!
Summer Enrichment Program
NECC’s enriching and comprehensive summer program is available to children entering grades 1 through 6. The 2025 program will serve 15 children and run July 7th - August 8th, Monday – Friday from 8:15 am – 3:45 pm.
TeenWORKS
This new after-school club space allows students to develop creative, social, and collaborative skills that translate to the modern workplace. As a project-based program, all technology and transportation is provided as students work on student-directed quarterly projects.
Teen Team: Community Service Program
The North East Community Center's Teen Team is a no-cost youth-directed program for high school aged students living in the Webutuck School District. The teens participate in and help plan community service, cultural, educational, and recreational activities throughout the year. The program helps teens gain knowledge, self esteem, and foster their community engagement.
Teen Jobs
Teen Jobs is an internship and work skills training program for students ages 14 through 18. Locally, the program is a partnership among the North East Community Center, the Webutuck School District, and area businesses. Since 2003, NECC’s Teen Jobs program has placed more than 500 students in internships with local employers.
